Desiree has been a part of the skin care and medical field for 12 years prior to her Esthetics education at Federico’s Beauty Institute of Sacramento. She is a Licensed Esthetician by the California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. Desiree is also Certified with Advanced training in Glycolic Exfoliation Treatments, and Jessner’s Peel by Helga Van Dyke Skin Care. Certified Permanent Makeup Artist, with advanced training by Permametrics in Sacramento, and is also an SPCP member.
Owning and operating a skin care business has been a long time dream, and was finally realized when opening the doors of Desireé Michelle in Fair Oaks, CA in May 2007, and then merging with a second location on Sutter Street in Historic Folsom which is now her sole location. Desiree believes in providing each individual a customized treatment in a soothing, yet sterile, environment.
While not treating clients, Desiree is spending time with her husband and two boys riding quads & going to Folsom Lake to Wakeboard. She spends time everyday with her father and playing with her two herding dogs, as well as shopping, makeup artistry, decorating & remodeling, and reading books.
